Anna Gram - The Hive

Dancefloor devotee, DJ and long-standing member of queer party legends Shoot Your Shot, Anna Gram started mixing and crafting her style in 2020, since then she has produced a slew of singles and EP’s of groovy future club hits. With acts such as Optimo, Midland and Job Jobse singing her praises, Anna Gram has continued to carve out her own space in the dance music community. With this track The Hive, coming from the As I Drift Away EP, the kick drum is unrelenting as it immediately draws you in to a world of singing keys and thumbing baselines.

Anna Meredith, Mari Samuelsen - Midi (Arr. for Solo Violin and Electronics)

One of the most innovative artists to come out of Scotland and the UK in the last ten years, composer and instrumentalist Anna Meredith has been constantly redefining what a musician can do. Collaborating with Classical musician Mari Samuelsen, the artists craft a stunning whirlwind of bowed strings and haunting melodies.

AROMA, AFA - TUNNEL VISION

Music collective AROMA continue to break genre boundaries as they refuse to confine themselves to one single genre or style. The collective based out of Scotland and the rest of the UK, create everything from Jazz to Drill, bringing in collaborators to broaden the pallets evens more. With BBC Music Introducing Scotland giving Tunnel Vision its debut radio play on their show this month, the creativeness from this project is seemingly infinite.

Becky Sikasa - Keeper

Having moved to Scotland in 2012 from Germany, singer/songwriter Becky Sikasa had already been writing and playing music on several instruments for most of her life. With this sophomore release, it is evident that this young artist is gifted. Each chord and each harmony are so delicately intertwined with one another. Sikasa’s voice carries through the intricate instrumentation like a summer breeze through the grass.

Bow Anderson - Mama Said

Promising young singer-songwriter Bow Anderson is back with a brand new single Mama Said. After a slew of single and EP releases since 2020, Anderson has been creating engaging pop songs and displaying her strong vocal talent and writing skills. Mama Said is an uplifting and riveting track that builds a tight rhythm section and powerful chords into a track that could go head to head with any of the chart hits right now.

Go To Girl - Twenty Something

Indie pop quartet Go To Girl have been slowly assembling their fan base with their slick cut guitar lines and pop-infused melodies. Their brand new single Twenty Something is a delightful slice of summery guitar licks coupled with a powerful driving force behind it. Catch these guys supporting Brown Bear in Edinburgh Mash House 26th May.

John Rush - I Can See The Light

With a summer of festival appearance in sight, including Down the Rabbit Hole and End Festival, Glasgow-based folk-pop artist John Rush is winning hearts with his own take on catchy acoustic driven tracks. Since his debut album release in 2019 with ‘Beneath the Apple Tree’, Rush has crafted his sound into a fine and consistent art. This latest single, I Can See The Light, thumps on with the energy and soul reminiscent of the Stereophonics and Passenger.

Kapil Seshasayee, Daranti Group - RUPTURE OF THE WHEEL

Possessed with the unruly talent of combing a rock/indie sensibility with elements of traditional Indian music, Glasgow based artist Kapil Seshasayee brings us a stellar collaboration with Pakistan Hip-Hop collective Daranti Group for the new single Rupture of the Wheel. With thick walls of synth and guitar throughout, the artists manage to make this track groovy enough to suck you in before unleashing a slinky flow and vocal delivery from both Seshasayee and members of Daranti Group.

LOVEMENOT, $am Brodie - MIA

Combining a love for 80’s pop music with a modern angle, producer/musician LOVEMENOT is back with another sleek new single. On MIA, the artist gets fellow alt-pop singer Sam Brodie to assist with the vocal melodies, making for a track that oozes style and nostalgia.

Red King - Whirlwind Head

Up and coming Hip-Hop MC Red King has been putting gin the graft since his first release all the way back in 2014, crafting and honing his bars and rhythm all throughout. With this latest single, Whirlwind Head, Red King muses on the adversities that face a man out of energy to keep going against all odds. The icy perspective is reflected in the cold synths and sparse drums that propel the track.
