Astroturf Inspector - User Error

Astroturf Inspector is the solo project by Edinburgh based musician Daniel Crichton, who has graced us with his debut album My Bones Are Singing. User Error is the opening track from this debut album and perfectly encapsulates the raw lyricism and intricate guitar lines that the rest of the album further explores.

CAFOLLA - The March Onto Forever

Seeped in nostalgia and pulsating baselines, The March Onto Forever is the new single from CAFOLLA the new project from musician Marco Cafolla. Bursts of drums echo throughout the track as the baseline moves under it, leaving Cafolla’s epic vocals to take centre stage as he builds this anthem for the apocalypse.

C H UNSPOKEN - Rolling

Touching base with a multitude of genres, local rapper C H UNSPOKEN has been proving that his razor sharp lyricism is adaptable to any beat. On the new single Rolling, the artist hits out with a snaking flow that weaves in and out of the hypnotic piano led instrumental.

Dead Pony - Bullet Farm

After a slew of successful singles in 2020, Dead Pony are back with a bang with this new single Bullet Farm. A scoring guitar immediately kicks off proceedings and does not let up till the climax the track. Vocalist Anna Shields concocts a visceral vocal presence with personality oozing out of the backing vocals. Catch Dead Pony supporting Twin Atlantic this May at the Barrowlands.

Ewan McVicar - El Bombo

Up and coming DJ Ewan McVicar has been taking the dance music world by storm, with his hit Tell Me Something Good being a staple for every house party and park with a bluetooth speaker last summer. Showing no signs of slowing down this continuous momentum, the young DJ has released another banger of a track in the form of El Bombo.

K4CIE (Feat Hamz, Napalmz) - Auto Equip

With producer and SAMA winner K4CIE at the helm of this track Auto Equip, the beats pull you in to this hard hitting mix of hypnotic string samples and 808’s. With Ham and Napalmz sharing the mic, each artist manages to spit their bars while the instrumentation holds the fort behind them.

KRYPTIK - Demons [Prod. Physiks]

SAMA Nominee Kryptic has been constantly creating and pushing the envelope of what local hip-hop can be. With two albums already unleashed, Kryptic continues to establish himself as more of a big name in the local scene with the immediately catchy bars and instrumentals.

sarya, Rufus - will to live

A stunning collaboration with vocalist sarya and producer Rufus, to create the new age blend of electronic and R&B that is Will To Live. Both based in Edinburgh, with sarya being from Taiwanese heritage, the pair gel together musically in a almost perfect match. The washing synths and steady beat keep the waves backdrop of the songs in tact while sarya howls a beautiful melody over the top.

TAAHLIAH, Luca Eck - Bodies

On this collaboration with Berlin-born artist Luca Eck, TAAHLIAH manages to yet again produce a beat heavier than the sun. After a stellar year for her, TAAHLIAH continues to nbwteak ground in the dance/hardcore techno world with her hyperpop infused takes on the genre. Bodies is obnoxiously good, with the relentless beats taking hold of you and not letting go until the last second.

Theo Bleak - Spring Sound

As we inhale the first breath of spring, Dundee artist Theo Bleak is here to make sure we hear and feel the vibrations of the season of new beginnings with Spring Song. The wispy chords contrasted with the hard hitting drums make for a heady mix, with vocalist Katie Minaloy cooing the sweetest melodies at the core. Catch Theo Bleak supporting Joesef this year, as he takes on a headline tour across the UK.
