Van T's + Stillhound added to SAMA 2016

The bands will join MC Shogun on the line-up for the main awards

GLASGOW alt-rockers The Van T’s and electronic Edinburgh outfit Stillhound will play this year’s Scottish Alternative Music Awards in association with Rebel Rebel Barbers.

The Van twins and co have been picking up pace recently across the Scottish music scene playing the likes of T in the Park and Electric Fields over the summer. Following this, they have supported Sunflower Bean on their UK tour playing in Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow. Their pedal-heavy, fuzzy, grunge sound is immensely catchy!

Hailing from Edinburgh, electronic trio Stillhound will blow away the SAMAs audience this year with their massive, danceable vibes. The band are set to release their new album ‘Bury Everything’ on 22nd September 2016.  They have recently been featured by the likes of Clash Magazine and are building momentum nationally.

The Scottish Alternative Music Awards (SAMAs) 2016 will be hosted by Jim Gellatly and will take place at The Garage, Glasgow on Wednesday 12th October 2016

Tickets are available from £20 (VIP), £10 (General), £6.50 (Student) via Eventbrite
