AISHA - Sweet & Juicy
Techno Producer and club hero AISHA has been taking the global dance scene by storm, with appearances on Boiler Room, Terminal V and a set at HOR. The py-trance infused euphoria emanates from every hit of the kick drum or smash of baseline. On the latest cut, ‘Sweet & Juicy’, AISHA flexes her skills with a pounding banger that refuses to let up in its intensity.
And The Bandages - Tough Luck
Indie Rock newcomers And The Bandages have delivered their fiery sophomore single ‘Tough Luck’. An angular guitar riff kicks off the track with a ferocious intent, the hypnotic bass weaves around as the song builds in intensity. Bringing influences of early Kasabian and The Dunts into the mix proves for a spectacular fury of indie rock goodness.
Carla J Easton - Every Little Bit of My Heart
Local legend Carla J Easton has returned with a forlorn Pop banger in the glittery package of ‘Every Little Bit of My Heart’. Coming from her fourth full-length release, the track is a synth-pop stomper that ebbs and flows with each beat of the drum machine. With an upcoming headline show at Mono, Glasgow Easton will surely continue her ascent to cementing her place as one of the most creative exports from this side of the Clyde.
Conscious Route, Supermann on da Beat, P Caso - Jazz Unsung
Producer Supermann and duo of Scotland’s best MC’s have assembled for the seeding new track ‘Jazz Unsung’. The titans of the Scottish Hip-Hop scene Conscious Route, Supermann On Da Beat and P Caso come together to create an ode to the ancestral roots to their genre. Bars and rhymes are traded off under the sleek jazz-tinged beat, layered with the modern edge of 808 drums.
Elisabeth Elektra, Mogwai - Broken Promises
Electro-pop royalty Elisabeth Elektra has once again graced us with a outright banger in the form of ‘Broken Promises’. Featuring Mogwai main man Stuart Braithwaite and CHRVCHES drummer Johnny Scott, ‘Broken Promises’ is a thundering journey complete with furious guitar and powerful drums that propel the track into light speed as Elektra enchants with her angelic vocal performance.
Hana Jane - Where I Want To Be
After the first single charted in the iTunes Alternative Charts, Hana Jane has seen significant radio coverage and a successful headline at King Tuts. Jane’s masterful take on rootsy alternative pop immediately encapsulates you from the first chord. On her sophomore single ‘Where I Want To Be’, the artist crafts a heartfelt and powerful ballad that feels fitting for the masses.
Pippa Blundell - Sisters
Sound of Young Scotland finalist Pippa Blundell has arrived on the scene with her debut EP ‘sisters’, dropping it as a surprise on the eve of her recent UK tour with corto.alto. Blundell weaves an enchanting, serene ballad on the song ‘sisters’, with minimalist backing vocals and magnificent harmonies that reach out and pull at the heartstrings. The artist uses this song, and the rest of the EP, to explore and understand the threads of what has been and what will come in her journey throughout life and womanhood.

Following a roaring album launch show at Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s, alt-rock duo Posable Action Figures continue to bring the energy. Kicking off with a whirlwind of warbling synth waves and a winding grooves before the song erupts into a thumping guitar riff. Combining the sleek instrumentation of Death From Above 1979 with a harder electronic edge, the duo work together to create a punchy sonic delivery.
Sean Focus, Brickboy Jayr - Remember Me Ampiano
Featured as a part of his sixth release, Zimbabwe/Scotland Rapper and Producer Sean Focus once again rings his sleek beats and wistful rhymes to the forefront. Teaming up with Brickboy Jayr who takes on some of the vocal duty, Focus crafts an engaging track that packs a danceable grooves with hard hitting drum machines and ambient synth chords to bolster the tracks sonic range.
Ziggy - Crazy
Edinburgh based Singer/Songwriter Ziggy has released her second single ‘Crazy’. Taking major influence from the modern pop pantheon in order to create her own slick version, Ziggy’s melding of sounds makes for an enjoyable listen. Her impressive vocal performance takes centre stage throughout, as she weaves wondrous melodies as the tracks bounces along.
