Becca Starr + Orry Caren - IT JUST FEELS SAD

The asserting “It Just Feels Sad” is the latest single from Alt-Rapper Becca Starr. With a feature from fellow artist Orry Caren, the provocative track features expert use of sampled hooks as well as a strong presence from both artists. 

Bleed From Within - Night Crossing

Hamilton thrash metal staples Bleed From With supply the riffs with this new track “Night Crossing”. Released in anticipation of their new LP Fracture, “Night Crossing” will keep the momentum going for fans. The track features a juicy guitar collaboration with Matt Heafy (Trivium) and is arguably one of the best uses of Zoom since lockdown!

Good Dog - Worm

Surging with luscious soundscapes throughout, the brand new track from the multitalented Good Dog is a stunning display of craftsmanship. Having worked with a roster of artists on Lost Map Records the artist, aka Susan Bear, creates a beautiful slice of instrumental glory. 

Jill Lorean - Permanent Look

Taking an angular approach instead of a more conventional one, songwriter Jill Lorean provides a refreshing take on the indie rock standards. With minimalist guitar leading the song into its thunderous climax, with Lorean weaving her vocals in between. 

Kapil Seshasayee - The Gharial

Bringing together electronic flourishes and intricate guitar ornaments, Kapil Sesasayee’s new track “The Gharial” fully embraces these elements. Stunning, layered synths litter the song through forming a solid base for the songwriters powerful vocal performance. 

Lucia & The Best Boys - Let Go

Swapping the noise for a dreamy mix of 70’s rock ballads, Lucia & The Best Boys assemble the blissful “Let Go”. Complete with backing harmonies the quartet are able to create a bittersweet love song. 

Maebh - Fingertips

Scottish songwriter/instrumentalist Maebh (pronounced Maeve) brings forth a delicate piece of music in the form of “Fingertips”. Underpinned with the gorgeous piano work the tracks shifts through the Bon Iver-esque vocal performance. 

MEMES - CHEER UP

Kicking off “Cheer Up” with bubbling drums samples, Glasgow duo MEME’s mean business. This track see’s the duo merging a dance-punk sensibility with scratchy guitars galore. 

North Atlas - Hypnotist

Dumfries-born, Glasgow based rock trio North Atlas deliver on the latest single “Hypnotist”.  With the verses ramping the tension up, crushingly distorted guitars tear through the choruses each time with a consistent ferocity. 

TeKlo - GEDD!T

With support from BBC Introducing as well as a number of headline spots across UK festivals, TeKlo manages to entice a flurry of colossal synths throughout new track GEDD!T. Dropping filthy basslines under the repeated vocal sample makes for an enveloping slice of electro/dubstep.
